I made the exercises using Sharpie only. My goal was trying to figure out the basic characteristics that make an object recognizable.

Here’s how it started

And then I made lots of pages…

I still have to think a little bit better and delete lines completely, but was my first time exercising this, so I’m happy.

Also discovered that this method can make super fun wall art, what do you think?

This was the last one I made. I have a schnauzer and couldn’t resist…

I guess on the last one I was a bit more bold not including lines. That’s a progress.
