Let’s Mix Our Own Watercolor Pastels: Warm Colors

Thank you for the beautiful class, Bianca!

I was so excited to do the studies and the swatches!

I mixed my pinks, yellow lemon, ochre and a bit of lavender with chinese white. I was amazed at how many natural, neutral colors I could mix with this versatile palette.

It was so nice to work on the paintings. It felt so uplifting to connect to the works of the master!

I went with exact colors in two of the first studies and one I made with the similar colors that you used. It felt different and more personal to make my own decisions with the colors.

It is such an easy way to study masterpieces with watercolor by mixing whites in. It allowed me to layer better and dont afraid to loose whites!
