Following this class, I decided to use my favorite painting from Henri Matisse as an inspiration to paint this abstract.  I always LOOOVED this painting for their colors!!

I used mostly gouache and posca pens.  I didn't have all the gouache colours I wanted to create all the shades of green I wanted so the end result is more bluish than the original one which is warmer... but still, I am pretty happy with the result.  I might get more gouach colors and try it again!!

I am glad I followed this class because it gave me a way to explore and enjoy painting inspired by my favorite artists!!
