Whoa, Erica, you have a knack for this! Genuinely, this is really impressive! I've given feedback on hundreds of collections by this point in my career, so I know what I'm talking about. 😉 The color palette is beautifully limited, there are no contrast issues, there's a clear hierarchy of heroes, coordinates, and blenders. Plus your pattern layouts/compositions are excellent! You do seem to be drawn to complex, dense compositions. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and I don't think it's an issue for this collection, but moving forward, consider trying pattern layouts with a little more negative space. It helps me to think about variety and how I can add more of it to my collections. If I have a lot of dense compositions, maybe it's time for more negative space. If there are a lot of darks, maybe it's time for more mid-tones or lights (unless the point is to make a dark and moody collection or a low volume collection, etc.). If I'm using the same background (or hero color; it's not always the background color, but it usually is) color a lot, how can I switch it up in one of them? Which actually brings me to...you have used that dark blue background color five times across the collection. For the most part, you've done a great job making sure there's enough variety across all the different colorways, but I think 5 feels like one too many to me. I would think about bringing it down to 3 or 4. Overall though, really excellent work! I hope you feel so proud of this! 💖
