Judy, I love seeing all this practice! 😊 You are definitely building a wonderful leaf vocabulary, and I can see your confidence growing.One little thing you might experiment with is holding your brush a bit higher up the handle and making sure the bristles are really loaded with paint and water. I like to make a little puddle of color and dip the whole brush into it, then dab off any excess before making the leaf. Holding the brush farther back almost forces us to relax and let the brush do more of the work. You might be surprised how much more movement and variety you get. Keep staying green and leafy, my friend. Beautiful work!

Good suggestions, Brenda. Thanks! I make puddles but sometimes end up with a drippy blob and other times a freakish leaf with a dry top. Onward!

Wow, these are well done!  I love the different hues your green brings!

My mixing secret: I used the cyan, magenta and lemon yellow from the acclaimed Lukas color tubes. These make the best secondaries! I also had a used palette of teeny dabs of purple, indigo and buff titanium, all used very judiciously. Shhhh — our secret! LOL!!! Thanks for your feedback, Deanna! - Judy

oh as i see dear judy ..that is a whole bunch of so beautiful colors..even tiny bits of indigo,purple &amp; titanium are just wondeful and all the other beautiful ones like magenta..have a lovely colorful day my dear judy..love vily 💗
