Lady Days Podcast

Hey there! I'm Kate Miller, and once upon a time, I owned my own business, built a brand with my sister, and life was good. Long story short, we sold it to a crazy person who killed the brand, killed the business and tried to kill my spirit in the process. Classy right? Momma didn't raise a quitter, so come along each week as I figure out how to rise above and live a vibrant life in the shadow of a failure journey. If you're down with real talk from smart ladies I've met along the way, welcome to the Lady Days podcast.

Audience: Women 18-80, anyone who is forging ahead living their best life, in authentic community with other women

First 4 episodes:

- Graduation: My daughter Belle is entering her senior year in high school. This is my oldest child, my only daughter, and we discuss her senior year v. my senior year, what she's looking forward to, how I'm stressing her out, and what I can learn from my 17-year-old about living vibrantly.

- Fashion: my gal pal Leslee is launching a fashion app that helps ladies navigate their own closets! We talk body image (yikes!), fashion trends, and words of wisdom to our younger selves.

- Immigration: Asu literally walked into our lives! Our shop on Broadway was in desperate need of a seamstress, and she showed up at our door. This remarkable lady emigrated to the US from Iraq by way of Syria in 2001, just months after 9/11. A college graduate with a Fine Arts degree and not a word of English, Asu started over in a country that was very suspicious of anyone from the Middle East. Today, she's an entrepreneur and loved in her community. Asu shares her story about moving away from family, starting over, an immigrant's fears and triumphs and we laugh A LOT!

- Passion: Andi Jo is a POWERHOUSE! She kills it as the event director of Union 12, momma of two young ladies, entrepreneur, she takes self-care very seriously and always has faith at the forefront. She's had her share of ups and downs, and we work our way through how she makes her way, every day.
