I made these studies of Klimt patterns in my sketch book. I made one black pen one and then got carried away and coloured the following ones. I love looking in detail at Klimt's backgrounds, they are so interesting. I have added one little painted study, which I started with a blue undertone before I added the gold paint layer. I am now a bit hooked on Klimt and intend to do some more compositions.This course has been really inspiring. Denise gives you permission to use all those art materials you have been stashing away.
