Mrs. Walker, this painting/sketch looks so cool! It almost looks like something out of the Winnie the Pooh cartoon just because of the lines and the painting strokes. It looks so beautiful, and I love it! Reminds me of my earlier childhood.

Hi Lyn! These trees are wonderful! They have so much personality with all of their wild roots and branches, and they also look like they have a lot of wisdom. :) You so beautifully rendered the scraggly bark textures and contrasted it with the smooth, soft surface of the river. Excellent work! So fun to see a glimpse into this location that you enjoy.

I used this sketch I did on site beside the Darling River in Australia and finished the painting at home today
