I have always struggled with paralyzing fear of a blank page. I always want everything to come out perfect, but if I don't overcome my fear of starting the project, I'll never accomplish anything. There were some parts of these sketches that didn't come out exactly how I hoped, but my new approach is not having as high of expectations and just jumping in. Anything is better than nothing, and when I go in with the goal of having fun rather than creating something perfect, my creation usually turns out better than if I had rigid ideas of how I wanted it to look. I am in love with my cherry blossom masking fluid flowers, and am very pleased with my fruits and veggies!!
