Hi Mel, you keep on surprising :) Sketches are fantastic! I love the transitions and the sequencing of how it starts with a clear geometry and slowly becomes an abstract language opening up towards infinity. The postcard is very delicate and tender, like a Japanese-style drawing. I love the simplicity but also the strength of the silence within the postcard. About the play with objects to find the arch form, I would try to find the repetitive elements, the rule behind the shapes of the objects, or even just one element that excites you the most, and then zoom into that, analyze it, as if it was a creature that you've never seen and take the different understandings of this shape and experiment with that to create the architectural space. What is the potential of the shape to become a shape? You will know that when you start putting small scale people next to it. You will identify with the people and using your imagination, and intution, you will know what the space can be. I'm excited and curious to see what you discover. Keep up the great work!
