I've seen some of these techniques sprinkled into Draplin's other classes, so I was excited to see a class dedicated to this topic. I love gritty, messed up looking designs!

 

I started out in Illustrator, where I built the design.

Then I pasted it into Photoshop, added noise, gaussian blurred, hit the levels, and then applied the stamp filter twice.

 

 

Next I added a subtle paper texture I had on hand, and added some color.

 

 

That's where I called it good. Loved the class, and I can't wait to see what Draplin cooks up next!
