Thanks! Rue de Rivoli is one of my favourite in Paris, the perspective is insane, and the architecture is just gorgeous. My only regret here...well actually I have 2:1- the sky...I mean it's obviously uninteresting... 2- I shoot this one with my little Fuji I carry around all the time, and not with the big Canon FF. Result I had the opportunity to take this shot, but now I have it, I hope I could work more on post processing. But meh...the best camera is the one you got on you right? I shot the last picture 20 minutes after that, so that was a ok day to walk through Paris ^^

Really dig the geometry of the first one broken up by the man in the chair — something I struggle with is the choice to go b+w or stay in color. What's your thought process in making the decision?

Thanks! This shot is really special to me. One of my favorite candid.I agree, I think that the contrast between the graphism of the geometry and this man sitting here makes the scene interesting.But actually I experienced it, quite the opposite way. This man despite his quite good look (dunno if you can tell with the shot) was homeless, sitting there, alone, in this freeeeezing cold gloomy day. The scene was so intense!For me the geometry was breaking, crushing him even more. There is some kind of weight to it.That's why I went for the b&amp;w, to focus on the graphism of the framing. Plus yeah the light was not good, so the colors were not interesting. Felt they were taking the intensity away instead of enhancing the scene. I actually have a photo of that guy with the pigeons, too. a paris legend I've been told... very impressed with you gallery. I love both candid portrait shots. the blur of the shot with the pigeons and the man is outstanding especially with the backdrop so symmetrical. the lookup is also badass. I would've loved to see some of the lines meet up with the edges a bit better but overall, fantastic submittion.  thanks for sharing!

Still wrapping my head around your comment :)I really appreciate your work and class, really means a lot that you liked some of my shots!I see your point on the look up, but I'm not sure that it would be doable concretely. The building has this awesome curve, but is quite small actually. So I had to choose this angle to make it look taller, loosing the edge....Hum, but that bothers me now haha, I'll revisite it, I'm curious to see if I can do it differently!
