I made this card for my friend using the 12 X 12 gilded paper pad from Michaels, the wooden rose embelishment from Dollar Tree and the clear friensdhip sentiment sticker from Hobby Lobby.

I decided to paint my wooden rose with an ink pad to give it color and I also used the envelope punch board to make a matching envelope from the same paper pad.

As soon as I saw your faux envelope technique on the front of the card it remended me of this one so i was happy I was on the right track. 

Overall, my friend was very happy when she got it in the mail and I decided to make card making a new hobby.

Your class was a great experience for me and I cant wait to use my fussy cuts to cluster and paper strips to decorate my card bases. I also want to invest mintay paper pads, they are beautuful.
