Hi Shiva, thank you for taking my course and the time to write such a lovely note. I absolutely love your intro video - it is a fun and expressive way to break into the medium without having to talk on screen. The music is creative and upbeat and I think the retro feel is a great way to differentiate yourself. I would never be able to tell that you used your phone without you mentioning it, but I am so glad you just dove right in! Other things which I think you could do in future is be wearing your doctor's coat, have a front angle of you studying rather than just the back and eventually getting comfortable to speak on camera. But I think this is great for the purposes of an intro video as it shows off your creativity and that you were able to convey your personality without speaking. Some things which really helped me was scripting a video and filming it with the intention of not uploading it. This eliminates any pressure to make it perfect but rather just encourages you to practise. What happened to me in the end was I realised that sure they weren't perfect but they also weren't BAD so ended up uploading them. There is a Youtuber called Shelby Church who I love who literally shoots footage, edits it, sees what's missing, shoots footage, ads it in. I have been trying to do this more and more to eliminate the fear to just start doing rather than always only planning. Anyway the most important thing is to KEEP GOING! It takes guts to get started on Youtube so once your video is up it's just about keeping at it, and your confidence and skills with flow with it. Very proud of you!!! Thank you for this ever so helpful course it really pushed me to go ahead and shoot the first video and edit it with whatever I have got.&nbsp;
I wanted to try my skills and confidence as I'm trying to overcome not to be camera shy, I just made an intro video to my channel.
I have recorded this on my phone and used iMovies to edit as your recommendation.&nbsp;
I haven't shared the video on my social media platform yet as I wanted to get your opinion regarding the same. I have scheduled time to be a consistent uploader.&nbsp;
Please do share your views on this as that will boost my confidence more than you think.&nbsp;
