Thanks so much for this class, Sarah! I learned a lot! I love that you explain why you do what you do, so that we can understand more about the decisions you make. I hate that most other classes I've taken just basically say "do it this way because I said so." Knowing why helps me feel better able to make my own decisions while I'm painting.

I made A LOT of notes! I didn't take pictures of the pages with only notes, just the ones with sketches on them. I still have to try the watercolour rocks and trees, but I'll get there eventually.

I swear, it's rotated correctly in my computer and on my phone...

 

Looks quite exaggerated and wonky with the base points so close to the vanishing points, but I kinda like it!

 

I sketched some small rocks. I have a ways to go I think, but it's a good start!
