Thanks for sharing Greg! You're basically there, this is a good headshot and there are a couple of small adjustments that can make it great! It does seem the camera left side of the face is a little bright, which can be saved with a quick slide of the highlights slider in Lightroom or a similar editing application. I would potentially bring the shadows up a little as well to even out the tones in the face. The expression and composition are great. For future shoots, I would potentially consider suggesting a different shirt but the pattern isn't too aggressive so it can still work for this. It could be the upload file compression, but I'm not sure the focus is on the eye, it looks on my screen like it's more on the camera right shoulder. Ideally, we always want the focus on the eye closest to the camera with a shallow depth of field, this can be tricky. It's not super out of focus but seems just slightly. Lastly, the backdrop does work quite well, although a quick iron could make it even more effective. Hope this helps and thanks for sharing this shot!

Excellent feedback - I see everything you're pointing out. 

I'm pretty sure the focus is because I was at 2.8 and using continuous focus mode (though not by choice/intentionally).
