Thank you for this tutorial! My biggest take away was when you said that all branches will turn upward in search of the sun. My mind blew because it's true and I never noticed! I painted a tree on another one of my projects and there was something off about some of the branches I created and I didn't know why, that's why! Small detail but so important for the tree to make sense.

Anyway, I had an easier time with the foliage than I did the naked tree. The more texture I tried to create, the messier my hatching became and I feel like I created noise rather than texture. Oh well, time to practice I guess! Thanks again.
