So this is my journey in a nutshell:

1.- Made color harmony exercise with a primary and a secondary color (both pre-made colors) and couldn't resist the temptation of trying all the 12 combinations, only this time I used only the 3 primary colors and made all secondaries and tertiaries from those... it was crazy, but satisfying. At some point (more specifically, when I started working with blue and purple) I started getting confused, like I couldn't tell apart which color was which and realized I wasn't even sure what color exactly purple was.

2.- I thought about making my diamond using only blue and red, but the mix looked gray (probably I needed a warmer blue and cooler red to avoid muddy colors), so I used pre-made purple and red. It was interesting that the red-purple on both versions looked very similar. I made a

3.- I made a lot of mistakes with my first diamond, I forgot to add a white space so I kept painting without spaces and added a white line with Pentel white marker, which I truly don't understand. it makes a messy blob of uncontrolled paint which I cant even spread. It goes from dry marker to blob of paint. Almost gave up on my diamond, which I think is more like a ruby?.

4.- Second attempt, I used the front and back of my watercolor paper to make diamonds with proper white spaces, yaaay!! and played a bit with the amount of water.

5.- I realized how little I know about colors, I'm still puzzled about what is truly purple, violet and how on earth bright pink is between red and purple (#ff002f - #ff00ae - #d000ff) but one thing at a time I guess :)
