Really nicely done Gwen! You have a lovely voice. I think Madeleine gave amazing tips which you implemented well. If I may give you a suggestion purely from experience as a fellow singer, I think you could maybe incorporate your body even more into the singing. So for the high notes for example, really using your belly muscles to create the air flow! I learned in the choir that singing is a full body sport, and our belly and diaphragm is like the machine that is necessary to create the air flow and pressure, so that our neck can relax as much as possible to let the sound happen. I think this would also support what Madeleine suggested regarding your chest voice! I found it amazing to realize how much the chest voice can really do in the higher notes (= mixed voice), instead of going into head voice early on. Again, really lovely singing. I always think the improvement will be in trying harder, but in fact, as I relax even more it sounds better and feels so much more like me. I would love to allow my mix voice in also! And it feels like so much more fun to allow enjoyment of the rhythm. Thank you again! I'm really hoping to have a private lesson some time soon. Breath Support - Ask yourself if you can relax even more. Notice what kind of shift that makes on your ability to breath deeper. This will give you a more fully-embodied sound. Given the key that this song is in, it sits in a nice head voice. As you relax even deeper, you will notice a feeling of coming down into your mix voice. 2. Performance - I love this groove.
