Paper and Material Tests

I grabbed all my inks and tools as well as a few different papers. I was especially curious to see if i could work on my gras paper. Sadly it doesn't work so well.

I wanted to use my favorite writing ink "Leipiscian black" by Rohrer and Klinger because it makes wonderful blooms with color shifts.

Also because i usually use writing inks as most drawing inks are not vegan which is imortant to me. Of course this comes with the downside of it being water-soluble but thinking of the wonderful blooms can also be an advantage :)

I was eager to start the pieces so I didn't explore too much.

Reference

As I spend most of my time here I wanted to do greetings from home. When i finally had the time to do the thumbnails I realized it couldn't be more fitting as to do "postcards from isolation" :)

Thumbnails

Apart from the third idea, these are all from home. The third was actually a blooming tree from our cities marketplace :) I'm a bit sad I can't sit there and enjoy them now.
