Green tree frog.
We had a pet tree frog for 10 years found in a box of bananas and would have died if we hadn't rescued it.
This painting is therefore dear to my heart. I used Daniel Smith watercolours. I used the cerulean which is granulating instead of the chromium version which is not. I worked with the mistake and also went for Hematite violet ( granulating) mixed with raw umber. Hansa yellow medium a touch of quin gold and indigo for the eye rounded out the pigments. In spite of some rookie mistakes I learnt a lot.
