Hope all is well,

My Videos Stats & Current Trends
I would really love some feedback on how to improve my editing to keep viewers hooked- Looking at my retention rates for all videos prior to this video, I have a very heavy drop off of viewers after 20-30 seconds on average, more so than what I assume people normally get. It usually ends up only being %20 of viewers sticking around throughout the whole video.

This newer video got a lot better retention rate for a lot longer(%40 all the way up to a minute in showing a decent hook/intro)
But I still see %15 of people sticking around after and I had positive feedback from my friends(friends can be too nice sometimes). I'll provide an image on my retention rate for my newest video that's linked below. I don't feel like my videos are misleading and they are decent quality(don't get me wrong its not perfect but I don't know the direction to head in to improve) not too sure why my drop off is so intense.

Overall Take Away:
When I look at my drop-off it seems as if people are leaving because its not as fast paced and interesting as the intro, but my issue is I can't have the entire video be my introductions and the video has to start somewhere and turn into what the viewer came for originally... a gaming video- not a movie I think? How the heck do I edit for my retention!?Great hook(I think). .. Sad Retention Issues. .. - image 1 - student project

I really need some honest advice so I can actually improve.

I'm directionless with my stats and analytics.
