I really enjoyed creating this mixed media sketchbook page! Sticking to simple shapes really made it fun and free to design the page however I wanted. I tried using an old white chalk marker that I had (which I think is similar to the posca pens) but it was dried out and wasnt giving me the nice white contrast I wanted. So I switched to a brush and opaque white ink which worked really well. I used a variety of yellow gouache to fill in the negative space.Then just some plain copy paper with a quick wash of green watercolor for the leaves.Thank you so much for the fun and inspirational class!
