This is the first self portrait I've done in a really long time, had a lot of fun with it.  I wanted to go for an illustrated style.  No lightbox so I used tracing paper and pencil for the outlines, then used thin washes of gouache and a few gouache details before using coloured pencil for the rest.  The collar/sweater combo is straight from A Clothes Horse and is something I would totally wear.  I originally wanted to do a rust coloured background but actually love it without.  I wish I was this cute in real life!
