Giant Manta Ray with Metallic Highlights

I used Baohong Masters' Choice 300gsm 100% cotton cold-pressed paper in size 27x15 cm, Daniel Smith's and Schmincke's tube watercolors, Gelly Roll pens and a cheap brand of metallic watercolors that I can't remember the name of.

This was a lot of fun! I'm happy with my results except for the fact that I made the ray way too small, I wish I made it twice as big! That's why the smallest details are a bit of a mess. Plus the black pen I used leaved a glossy line around the ray. (I used Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen, so unless you want shiny black edges, don't use that!) But I still think it looks fine, it was fun to get a chance to use metallic watercolors! Not many classes use them.

Thanks Alicia for the class! I hope more people find you. :)
