I am getting back into art, so trying art journaling to ease back into my skills. The eye-skill gap is pretty tough on me at the moment. I am journaling in two sketchbooks, one mini and one a bit bigger where I can write notes. I plan to do some more plein air and urban sketching, but my main goal with these sketch books is to get back into illustration style drawing and painting. Hence a spooky Gastly and a "draw this in your style" study of keyresonance's character from Instagram. I couldn't resist drawing and painting the cutie. Don't know if I will do the full DTIYS as was just being silly and studying the character than trying to replicate it in my style. I just wanted this cutie in my sketchbook to look back on as a win with loving the design so much.
