German Pangram

German Pangram - student project

This isn't the class project, it's an invitation to continue your practice of putting letters together into words. :-) A pangram is a sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet. "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is the most common one used in the English language.

Well, I'm German, so I thought I'd share a German pangram! This one translates to "Victor chases twelve boxers across the big embankment on Sylt". You can find one in your language here: http://clagnut.com/blog/2380/

I'd like to add that I haven't been able to actually pick up pen and nib and ink over the holidays what with visitors and general laziness, so this was done on the iPad. It makes a big difference and I'll re-do it with pen on paper when I get back to my usual routine next week.

Would love to hear if you're using digital mediums to practice calligraphy and how you find it? Which do you prefer?
