Geometric Landscapes!

Geometric Landscapes! - student project

I had so much fun taking this class. It gave me a new way to use some of the supplies I already have on hand. Even suggestions like making a hexagon instead of a rectangle, which I'd never done before! (Awesome that you included a template for it, thank you!)

Here's my journey from very crude sketch to finished pieces... I made two scenes, and for the sake of experiment I taped one to a surface and left one on its own so it was easier to move around. (For me, it ended up not mattering for this step. I don't tend to move the piece when I'm painting, but I definitely did when I was doing the embellishments, so I prefer to leave it taped to a surface when I paint.) Also pardon the lighting from the first pix, that's the best I could do sitting at my computer!
