I should not be allowed in the kitchen. I can barely make a glass of water, but this class had toast in it, so of course I'm going to give it a shot!

I went with the ingredients that were shown in the videos because, again, I don't cook, not even toast! Of course my avocado was a little brown inside, but I didn't let that stop me.

I am not a professional photographer and I struggled with keeping focus for some reason, but I really enjoyed playing with the light, shaping it, and utilizing the techniques Tabitha outlined. Seeing the "behind the scenes" of how these types of shots come together is really interesting for me and also inspired me to give it a try.

Composing and styling these shots is completely new/foreign to me, not sure I nailed it, but it was fun to try. Think I used too many tomatoes and not enough avocado, but it all tasted good after the shoot!

Thanks for a fun class Tabitha...really enjoyed it and got inspired to try something new!

My set up, I  did use foam core to block light and bounce some back into the scene but it's not shown here.
