I was dreaming about making a greating cards collection for a long while, and finally this class helped me to make it real.

I picked TIGER as a theme, and brainstormed about cards' ideas.
I chose 4, and started very roughly to sketch some layouts.

I then picked a color palette that would feature some tiger-related colors (orange, red), and other complementary ones for a pleasing effect.

 

After that, I worked a bit on the design of the tiger, which was the main character I wanted to appear in every card.

About color: one thing I was considering was if I wanted to have the same background throughout the collection (like Claire's did), or if I wanted to play around with the palette, and use every time a different color as background.
One thing was sure: the main red focus would have been the tiger!

Lastly, I finalized all the cards, adding some textures and details.
Ta-dah, my GRRReeting cards are ready!

Here I tried a mockup as well - and I am planning to print them soon and sell them as a pack called GRRReeting Cards.
