Here's my attempt at this project, the soldier man for some reason reminded me of Kingpin from Marvel so I went with this crime boss theme, tho I obviously got too inspired by your character. I tried to put a little bit of a spin with the cybernetic eye and a fancy haircut. For some reason I couldn't pull of the dissolve trick the grain was really small and sharp, mayby something to do with my brushes. And the anatomy... yeah, its probably time to look into that.
