This class was a fun way to experiment with different colors and mark making in a very low stress environment. I chose a reference photo of a river in Oregon from Unsplash so that I could try to apply the techniques after watching the lessons. I learned a lot from the process and the finished painting. I feel like I've gained confidence to take bigger risks with bolder, more varied marks next time!
