From Craft Foam to Art: Custom Stamp Making for Beginners

A terrific and fun mini workshop here! There are so many great hints and techniques shown here.
I love the use of inexpensive craft foam to make your own stamps. The hints make creating the stamps easy and fun. I really like making the stamps. I’ve been working on ideas since the class came out.
It really is a brilliant idea to make favorite part of a 9x12 stencil into a stamp. I also feel that one can really take a deeper look at all the stencils you have and integrate them further. The stamps from craft foam work very well.
I use box tops from boxes that come in. I like recycling cardboard. The cardboard remains study and is not so precious.
I love gelli printing. In fact I gelli print much more than paint. I have learned to paint more from Denise. I use my stamps extensively for gelli prints.
here is a series of gelli prints using this stamp I created.
I continue to create more foam stamps. I like Denise do not sell my work- so I can make stamps from my stencil collection. It is nice to create stamps from large stencils, or parts of stencils that you especially like. Also - the negative and positive images from the stencils you have.
Thank you Denise for another inspired class!
