I really enjoyed learning more about art history and then creating these collages after. I found the process to be meditative and a creative flow. I will continue practicing collage going forward - I really enjoy it!

 

Color - I picked similar color schemes to the house image to build this color collage.

 

Cubism - I found inspiration for this cubist collage from Martha 

 

Abstract-Above is my reference photo and the abstract interpretation I created.

 

surrealism - I used more of the paper as a piece of the collage in this one using more negative space to have the shapes stand out.
