I really enjoyed these projects.  The luna moth took me a while, but I enjoyed every minute of it.  It was the last of the series I did and I felt more confident with it than the others.  Watercolor seems perfect for these butterflies because of those nice edges and overlaps!

(on this one I tried the blurry blend black edges - it's so fun to do!  But I wasn't thrilled with it.  And, really, in hindsight it didn't match the actual butterfly.  I painted over the edges with crisp black to practice and it looks better.  Live and learn.
