Ok, then I'll try my hand at a flower theme. Not really my thing, but the subject appealed to me with its strong contrasts and I wanted to try it out.
It was difficult for me, I have to say. I imagined it would be easier.
It was difficult to get the contrast so deep and not to put too many layers on top of each other. I didn't succeed. The colors became a bit muddy and lost their color intensity. I also couldn't get a decent transition in the background.
I really wanted to have the picture in A2. Unfortunately, I only had plain Canson paper and I didn't have Arches in that size, which didn't make the painting process any easier.
But anyway, I thought the course was pretty good. I especially liked how you followed the process of arranging the flowers and finding the right composition. So important, I'm still missing that completely. Thank you for the insights into your work. I look forward to more!!!
