For my class project, I created a loose floral sketchbook page featuring a hand-lettered summer quote, painted in vibrant watercolours. This type of spread is a lovely way to combine botanical illustration with creative journaling, and it’s perfect for relaxing sketchbook practice.

You can follow along using the same quote or choose one that resonates with you. I encourage you to make it your own — experiment with colours, flower shapes, or even add butterflies or bees if you like!
