I didn't have photo paper so I used my Canson Watercolor Paper 140 lbs. Cornelia said that watercolor paper absorbs the liquid. True enough, my bubbles shrunk quickly and created very small bubbles and some puddles. Maybe it's the brand? I added a drawing of flowers to make something out of it. Next time, I will use photo paper.
