We don't need lot's of materials but I can help you with that.

Wow, what a wonderful practice. Really well done. Few points: you may need to practice your charcoal stump/brush skill more in order to create smoother surface. If you send me a picture of your material I can help you further on how to use them better.

You are totally right.  I found it frustrating that I couldn't get the  lashes smooth, and the shading didn't do what it was supposed to.  

So ... I couldn't find my tiny blending stump, which I found now.  
Also the paper was just scrap paper.  I haven't seen conte pencils here, so used Derwent Charcoal pencil (dark).  So really am just hacking with what I have and could find here. Whatever tips you can give me, I will really appreciate.  

I did another eye drawing with just pencil, which I will post now.   It's a bit better.
