I’m not sure if it is the paper I’m using but I have a hard time controlling the Conte pencil and it doesn’t slide smoothly. I tried sharpening it more. I also misplaced my pencil eraser and tried using electric eraser in corner of eye- that was a mistake! I will try this again at some point once I have the tools I need- 

I draw with Utrecht pencil HB primarily and sometimes use 6B for darker lines- but the Conte takes over… and the graphite powder and brush… I need to be more careful to check if it’s too dark before applying. 

And my stump doesn’t do what Ava’s does!
