Practicing my Filbert brush, and round brush. 
I love using muted colours in my work (mainly primary colours. Yellow ochre, burnt Sienna to mute the colours of crimson red, lemon yellow and ultramarine blue, and for the leaves used Sap Green, Viridian Green, yellow ochre /Burnt Sienna or Payne's grey to create some varieties. 

I am not quite happy with my Rose that has been overworked in my first composition, but it's part of my creative process;) 

I got carried away and really painting intuitively when I was painting my second composition so it is altogether loose and imperfect 😆
