Purchase App Sunglasses
Background:
Users can buy our sunglasses via their mobile device. Their satisfaction shall increase since they hereby get an interface designed for mobile first. This will also increase effective buying and efficiency in terms of buying and check-out time.
We need to understand how users use our app while searching for specific sunglasses so that we can optimize the app regarding their needs and typical user journey. This shall increase our sells and the costumer rankings of our shops, which again serves as positive marketing mechanism.

Hypothesis:
The user journey onto the goal of purchasing the sunglass that fulfills their expectations should be as convenient and fast as possible. By an intuitive front end, the handling of the shop should be comfortable.
By making the filter possibilities as obvious and clear to understand as possible, this goal should be achieved.
Success Criteria:
The user should be able to find the right sunglasses within 2 minutes. Less then 20 clicks should be necessary to make during this. No error should occur. The user’s satisfaction should be ranked at least 8 on a scale from 1-10.
Methodology:
An evaluative research will be conducted with 10 participants in form of usability testings of the already created high-fi prototype. The testing will done remotely and recorded via a video call tool. The participants will participate one at a time. They are asked to share their mobile screens as well and the whole session gets recorded.
Metrics:
Time on task, success of task, number of errors, satisfaction rating on a scale
Participants&Recruitment:
Users will be as defined in the target group: different genders, age 18-60, technical experienced, income from 38.000 – 120.000 euro per year.
People will be recruited via an agency, sessions will be about 30 minutes, remote, each participants gets an android mobile phone as well as a windows laptop with camera.
Deliverables:
Ideal of displaying filter possibilities and the menu of the online shop
The discussion guide/usability tasks
Introduction: General introduction of me and brief explanation of the app (not to detailed),
information that the app gets tested, not persons, everyone can be honest without having to be concerned about hurting feelings or doing something wrong, it is possible to stop everytime
