that little boat - so cute! Your rocks came out splendid, also.

Wonderful Deena! I love the light you captured in this painting! And the textures of the rocks in the foreground and the lightness of the background.I also love the delicate light on the boat, with the interupted edge of the boat, with the delicate blue and the delicate details!I wonder if if would be good to add a light shadow under the boat, like a reflection on the water just underneath? like a light blue line on the water under the boat?What do you think? Thank you for sharing!

Thank you Barbara for your kind words and helpful insight! I did wonder about adding a shadow under the boat. The picture I was using as a reference was very grey as it was foggy the day it was taken, though I was trying to keep it looking lighter as I remembered it in my mind’s eye.
