Wow, just stunning. I love the colours, they really pop off the page, a lovely reminder of summer and that fabulous warmth!The paint shouldn't creep out of your pencil lines unless the paper outside the pencil line is a little wet. I know sometimes I drip water without noticing, so maybe this happened?

Oh Jane, I had the good fortune to give this piece to a friend who absolutely loved it. I'm so pleased.❤️ It's pure bliss to try something and have it accidentally turn out okay and kudos to you for making this so accessible.  I think I just wasn't careful while I was putting the water on my paper. My brushes didn't help either. So when I was trying to get the blob off I had to go over the pencil lines.🙈 I'll be more careful next time.

Oh, what a lovely thing to do. I’m sure your friend will treasure it.  Oh, brushed do make a difference. You needed a nice point for delicate small shapes like this. I’ve tried using chunker brushes and found a similar result 🫣😁

I know what that feels like. I had a look at a couple of your projects and was taken away by some of the flowers you've created, especially the yellow rose and the cherry blossoms. I really want to improve my skills to get to trying them out☺️☺️

I couldn't get the paint working as smoothly on the body and I somehow wandered outside the pencil line. Regardless, I'm quite pleased I tried this delicate dragonfly.
