I struggled a lot with the orange, hence the three attempts. However, I thought it was a great exercise in color mixing and creating dimension. 

Color mixing and brush work. Doing this activity made me want to be more intentional in my choice of brushes when painting. 

This piece was fun! I challenged myself to paint this with only the primary colors and white, as in the past I have relied heavily on black when mixing darker colors and greys.
