Designing for Gender-Neutral Beauty
One of the biggest trends in the beauty industry right now are unisex cosmetics, fragrances, and body products. This article from February 2018 in Vogue has a nice roundup and does a nice job concisely pointing out some of the trends: "Better Together: Gender-Neutral Beauty."
Have you noticed this in stores or with brands you follow? The unisex fragrance space is especially interesting to me, and in the context of this class, it's notable how the packaging colors, marketing communications, and even product copy speak to a more universal and inclusive audience.
