My first attempt at this was inspired when our daughter made me a little sketch that I wanted to keep somewhere safe [project image cropped to exclude more personal journaling].

Depsite this not being my preferred style for art journaling, I am fairly pleased with the result. I like how her drawing stands out for being a simple sketch and not coloured. So when she made me another little sketch, I made another piece.

Which is part of a larger two page spread. I love how the panel look and relate to each other.
