Cosmic Strife

a rock afloat, galaxy spinning.
a somber dance, see stars winning.
forever it seems, it has searched.
forever it seems, it is scorched.
from its womb, a valued gem.
and evenstill, a lost femme.
in its life, there is light.
consistent though, dim not bright.
torn to tear, too much to bear.
light my flair, and give me air
--My creation of this poem comes from a struggle in my life. My pull is using poetry for therapy. I like using something I find beautiful, such as the galaxy, to make my troubles easier to annotate.--
