This is so charming! Cooking with a corgi named Baguette already sounds like the beginning of a very good story. 😄 I love how much warmth and personality you brought into this piece. The cook, the corgi, the roast chicken… it all feels playful, cozy, and full of character. I also really like the way you created depth in the scene. Having the cook partially overlap the wall clock and the fridge is a very smart composition choice, and it makes the kitchen feel much more like a real space rather than separate objects placed next to each other. And that mid-century clock is such a lovely detail!You’re clearly on a really good path with this style. The whole illustration has that lovely mix of simple shapes, storytelling, and playful charm that works so well for mid-century inspired art. You did a wonderful job, and I’m so glad you had fun with the class! Jutta &lt;3

Decided to do a fun, mid-century depiction of me cooking with my corgi, Baguette. :)
This was such a fun class! I would love some constructive feedback so I can continue honing the style.
