Update: I chose one complementary pairing and did a larger sketch. I'm feeling very critical of my abilities with sketching and the coloring. It is rough. I could have experimented a lot more, trying different proportions of mixing the two colors, a broader spectrum of saturation, tinting, and shading. And yet sometimes I want it to be minimalist. So many options!

Would like to discover how to make it more interesting. I'm sure there are other skills I'll be learning to improve. Meanwhile, it's all good practice and it was enjoyable to do it. I actually watched a couple of hummingbirds at this feeder while in the midst of this project.
